The Shepard Community Blood Bank was also on hand conducting a blood drive in conjunction
with the health fair activities. Students, faculty, and staff stepped up to donate the gift of life throughout the day. Students from Ms. Strait's Health Occupations classes served as volunteers to help facilitate the blood drive.

A total of forty-four donors registered to give blood during the day. Twenty-eight were actually eligible to donate and completed their gift of life. All blood that is donated to the Shepard Community Blood Center stays in the C.S.R.A. and is used by all area hospitals.
