Faculty Spotlight: Ms. Hillman

The 2008 school year brought a familiar face to Warren County Middle and High School. Candice Hillman joined the counseling department as an intern in order to fulfill her program requirements with Troy State University. Working with Warren County Middle and High School has been a sort of homecoming for Ms. Hillman.

Ms. Hillman was born in Augusta and raised in Warren County, where she attended school. She has one sister and one brother and is the youngest in her family. Hillman states, "I hate using the word "baby" and being called that in the family." She is also single with no children.

Ms. Hillman was a cheerleader, a member of the debate and literary teams, and a member of FBLA and chorus during her time as a student at WCHS. She went on to Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville where she earned a bachelor degree in sociology. Hillman is currently working on her Master's in Counseling Psychology with a concentration on community counseling. She also works part-time at Bath and Body Works in Augusta.

Ms.Hillman loves to read. Her favorite author is Stephanie Perry Moore. She's also a die-hard sports fan and loves to go to football games. Her other interests include shopping , surfing the internet, singing, and hanging out with her friends.

Ms. Hillman is actively involved with her church and serves as a Sunday School teacher.
