Homecoming 2009 has come to an end in Warren County. The ballots have been counted, the game has been won, and the school is pleased to report that the week’s festivities were a great success!
Representing their class as Class Kings and Queens this year are as follows:
Miss Freshman: Quineshea Kuhn
Mr. Freshman: Cortez Wentz
Miss Sophomore: Tianca Evans
Mr. Sophomore: DeShawn Ficklin
Miss Junior: Bianca Pugh
Mr. Junior: Kalip Allen
Miss Senior: Tyneisha Tolbert
Mr. Senior: Uriah Myrick
Congratulations go out to each of those representatives elected by their classmates.
Mr. and Miss WCHS were crowned at the annual Coronation Wednesday night. The school is honored to announce Mr. Javier Lowe and Miss Tynisha Harris as Mr. and Miss WCHS for the 09-10 school year. Mr. Lowe plays on the Screaming Devil varsity football team. Miss Harris serves as a varsity cheerleader and plays on the varsity Lady Devils basketball team as well.
The homecoming king and queen were crowned Friday night at halftime of the homecoming game. Quiet fell over the crowd in the moments preceding the crowning of the king and queen. Dr. Bishop principal of Warren County High School broke the silence by announcing that sophomore, Corterrius Johnson, and a senior, Candice Warthen would take home the title.
