Members of the Warren County High School Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) travelled to Augusta Tuesday morning to meet with Sherry Tollerson, owner of ANew Salon. Mrs. Tollerson graciously closed her business for the morning to meet with the class to stress the importance of a professional appearance in the business world.
Mrs. Tollerson encouraged the students to follow their dreams and to pursue their interests. Tollerson also shared her own experience with developing a business plan and presenting it to investors.
The visit was capped off with gift bags for each student and a free make-over to one lucky student. Quantesha Boykin was chosen for the free make-over and enjoyed her time in the chair as Sherry demonstrated the services of the salon.
